Introducing Rick Veldman, an award-winning photographer based in the scenic landscapes of West Michigan. Rick's journey into photography began with a fascination for the natural world and a desire to capture its essence through his lens. In addition to his traditional photography skills, Rick is also a commercially licensed SUAS operator. With his drone, he captures breathtaking aerial views that showcase the beauty and diversity of Michigan's landscapes from a whole new perspective.

Born and raised in the heart of West Michigan, Rick developed a deep appreciation for the region's diverse beauty from an early age. Surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Great Lakes, lush forests, and vibrant urban landscapes, he found endless inspiration for his photography. Rick can often be found birdwatching along the shores of Lake Michigan or kayaking down one of the state's scenic rivers. His love for outdoor adventure fuels his creativity and drives him to seek out new and exciting opportunities to capture the natural world in all its glory.

Rick's passion for exploration has led him to travel far and wide, seeking out unique perspectives and hidden gems to photograph. From the Sea of Japan to the Cliffs of Dover, and from the tranquil shores of Sleeping Bear Dunes to the towering cliffs of Pictured Rocks, he has traversed the length and breadth of Michigan and beyond, capturing stunning vistas in exquisite detail.
